The market is ripe for the VPSignTM Solution Suite from a regulatory perspective. Since circa 2000, most modern countries have set in place electronic signature laws. These laws level the playing field and stipulate that a contract cannot be seen as deficient only because the signature was captured electronically.
However, all other aspects of contract law still apply to documents signed electronically. The major issues to contend with are Authenticity, (Non)Repudiation, and Admissibility as evidence.
