The VPSign™ Solution Suite consists of the following components for the enterprise wishing to become paper free:
- The VPadTM Paperless Printer
- The VPilotTM Server
The VPad Paperless Printer is a front-end customer facing product deployed at the employee's work station where customers are engaged, in the same place that the employee would normally present a paper contract and pen to the customer for signing. If a document would normally be printed to a paper-printer to have a document signed by a customer, it can be printed to the VPad Paperless Printer as an electronic document that can capture electronic signatures.
The VPilot server is a back-end network server software package which monitors the VPad Paperless Printers deployed throughout the organization, interfaces with the enterprise's document archiving system and provides a web-interface to authorized users to read documents signed and sealed by the VPad Paperless Printer.
